An exciting opportunity has arisen for four experienced Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Managers to join the National Institute for Health Research’s (NIHR) new EDI team.
This is an exciting opportunity within the NIHR that involves developing and implementing the NIHR’s EDI strategy for its research workforce, advisory workforce, study participants, patients and the public. The post holder will provide specialist support and advice on equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Applicants must have significant experience in this field of work, with specialist knowledge of EDI legislation and best practice. You must be an excellent communicator with the ability to prioritise competing demands. As EDI Managers, you will play a key role in shaping the EDI priorities and developing the core EDI workstreams that emerge from the new EDI strategy. Your role will be key in establishing the NIHR as a leader in EDI.
The NIHR Academy Executive is hosted by the Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust (LTHT) and delivers the work of the NIHR Academy, leading on policy, strategy and delivery in respect of academic training in England and working closely with other NIHR centres and the Science Research and Evidence (SRE) Directorate at the DHSC.
