Nina Hemmings is a Policy Fellow at the Health Foundation, working on Primary and Community Care.
Nina joined the Health Foundation in 2025. Before this, Nina was a Fellow at the Nuffield Trust think tank and worked on projects spanning remote and digital services in general practice, NHS workforce education and training, and social care reform. She was a qualitative research lead in the NIHR Rapid Service Evaluation Team, a collaboration between University College London, University of Cambridge and the Nuffield Trust, delivering evaluations of interventions in maternity services and AI tools in chest diagnostics.
She has also spent time on secondment to NHS England, developing an anchor institutions programme for the London region.
Nina is a trustee at Health Services Research UK, a membership organisation promoting health service and care research. She has an MSc in Comparative Social Policy.
