Perhaps one of the most important long term consequences of the COVID19 pandemic will be the number of people with ongoing health conditions related to their episode of COVID infection and treatment – what has been called post COVID syndrome or long COVID. This plenary will explore the developing understanding of what long COVID is, how it is managed and how services for this condition are developing. It will examine the way the research agenda has been shaped particularly by the lived experience of a growing community of people who have this condition.
