Jenny is HSR UK’s Project Officer and is currently leading on our Health and Social Care Workforce, Research Engaged Boards, and Careers Inclusion projects. Jenny is in the final year of her PhD at the University of the West of England exploring continence care provision in older adult care and nursing homes. As part of this, she has completed a systematic review exploring the barriers and facilitators that impact continence care provision, and is in the process of finishing a qualitative study that interviewed care home staff to explore their experiences and perceptions of continence care provision.
Jenny completed an undergraduate degree in English before progressing onto an MSc in Public Health from the University of Southampton. Jenny is particularly interested in public health, women’s health, knowledge mobilisation, and qualitative research in the health and social care workforce space.
