University of Sheffield Researchers generally want to see the research they do being used, to make a difference to health and care services and to improve care for people and populations – and the focus of this plenary is on how that happens, and how we can maximise the impact of research.
Our three contributors bring different perspectives to the issues – as researchers, but also as people who have been involved in funding and commissioning research, and in working closely with policymakers and practitioners, and with lots of experience of public and patient involvement in research.
