Join us in Newcastle for the 18th annual Health Services Research UK (HSR UK) conference, held from 2-3 July 2025. We are curating an exciting programme featuring expert speakers from across the UK and beyond, addressing key issues in health and care services research, policy, and practice.
Take part in highly topical plenary sessions, practical and interactive workshops, and explore cutting-edge research from across the health and care services sector.
You’ll have the opportunity to attend a diverse range of research presentations and plenaries from key opinion leaders, engage in interactive workshops designed for maximum impact, and network with peers and colleagues from research, policy, and practice communities.
Research Presentation Submission
We welcome research presentation submissions on all aspects of health and social care services, systems and policy research including those that improve patient, carer and service user well-being; build research capacity in the NHS and social care; or advance research methodology.
Research studies put forward should include presentation of data collected in part or in full at the time of submission OR include a statement to confirm data collection and analysis will be complete and ready for presentation by the time of the conference.
Once again, we will be offering several options for presenting your work:
- oral presentation either within a research presentation session or a pecha kucha session;
- poster presentation either poster display only or poster display and presentation within a poster walkround session.
When submitting, we will ask you for your first choice of presentation type and also your preferred alternative. Please note, that if you are not selected for an oral presentation format then you will be offered a poster presentation.
Submissions should be up to 600 words and follow the structure: Background / Context, Methods, Results, Limitations and Implications.
Deadline for submitting Research Presentation proposals: midday, Monday 20th January. This call for abstracts is now closed.
