King’s College London announces five scholarships for new Implementation and Improvement Science Master's programme.
King's College London is offering five £2,000 scholarships for people who work or live in south London who want to study on a new unique Master’s programme, starting this September.
The new MSc in Implementation and Improvement Science, believed to the first of its kind in the UK, is an exciting field of study and can offer real solutions to improving quality, safety, outcomes and population health.
The programme has been created jointly by researchers at King's College London and St George's, University of London, who are working together under the auspices of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care South London (CLAHRC South London).
Professor Stephen Tee, Professor of Nurse Education and Dean for Education at King’s said: “We are really excited to be offering scholarships for this new Master’s programme. The MSc is a practical course aimed at those from health, policy, NGO and government sector, including health and social science researchers both in the UK and in an international context. If you are at start of their career or have been working in, or using, health services for a longer period of time and want to learn research and project management skills, this course is for you.”
King’s is hosting a launch event on Tuesday 30 June, which will be an opportunity to hear from the leading academics who will be teaching the course and details about how to apply for a scholarship.
