The Health Foundation is inviting proposals for work seeking to better understand the health and wellbeing of lower paid NHS staff.
Lower paid NHS staff are relatively less well studied, despite having higher sickness absence, being less likely to access interventions to improve health and wellbeing, and, according to internal analysis, more likely to have long-term health conditions, than higher paid staff.
The Foundation seeks proposals from individuals or teams who can demonstrate an ability to engage with our target staff group, and to synthesise learning from the interactions.
This is an area of work under development at the Health Foundation. The project is intended to be introductory and exploratory. Bids between £20,000 to £30,000 (inclusive of VAT and expenses) are anticipated.
The deadline for applications is open until 8 April 2020.
