The 5th Health Services Research Symposium starts this Monday 8 October and Health Services Global have just launched a very useful symposium toolkit. With more than 2,000 health systems researchers, policymakers and practitioners from around the world meeting in Liverpool, this toolkit can help those going to the Symposium and helps you to take part in the conversation, even if you're joining from afar.
You can find the latest blog series, symposium annoucements, good reads about HSR and even express your interest in connecting with HSR members all around the world. We strongly encourage you to take a look at full conference programme that includes various talks about health research in LMIC around ethical issues, knowledge gaps and financing reforms in the healthcare systems.
And if you have the chance you can also attend the National Institute for Health Research satellite session: ‘A whole system approach to improving health at national and global level’, on Tuesday, 9 October from 13.30-17.00. A consultation session will follow, aimed at understanding the gaps and opportunities for NIHR to support impactful HSR in low resource settings. The full conference programme also includes talks about health research in LMIC around ethical issues, knowledge gaps and financing reforms in the healthcare systems.
We are very keen to launch our own resource page on Global Health here and would very much welcome any useful resource, news and opportunities you believe interesting to share.
