Jenny is HSR UK’s Research & Engagement Officer and is currently leading on our Health and Social Care Workforce, Research Engaged Boards, and Careers Inclusion projects. Jenny completed her PhD at the University of the West of England, UWE Bristol in October 2025. Her thesis explored continence care provision in residential care and nursing homes. As part of this, she completed a systematic review and a qualitative study interviewing the adult social care workforce to explore experiences and perceptions.
Prior to her PhD, Jenny also completed an undergraduate degree in English Literature before progressing onto an MSc in Public Health from the University of Southampton. Jenny is particularly interested in public health, women’s health, knowledge mobilisation, and qualitative research in the health and social care workforce space.
