Innovation Opportunities for Healthcare professionals in general practice

The RCGP is launching two programmes to encourage, empower and enable innovation at the frontline and from entrepreneurs in general practice.

We have created the first mentoring programme designed specifically for innovation in general practice. The Innovators Mentorship Programme has been designed specifically for entrepreneurial GPs to help them negotiate the challenges in creating successful startups. Our mentoring, training, resources, peer support, partners, access to networks and help every step of the way will support entrepreneurial GPs to accelerate their innovations to innovate to support general practice. Apply to join the programme as an GP entrepreneur. More information at http://www.rcgp.org.uk/clinical-and-research/our-programmes/innovation/innovators-mentorship-programme.aspx

The Bright Ideas Programme is the only programme in general practice that identifies innovative approaches tried and tested on the frontline and supports others on the journey to try them. Our Bright Ideas Awards celebrate the ideas that are helping to alleviate the pressures on general practice and those pioneering ideas that are pushing the boundaries. The future is here but it’s not evenly spread and the Bright Ideas Workshops have been designed to help healthcare professionals to try these new approaches. Submit your Bright Idea here and join us on the journey of spreading innovative improvements in general practice. Deadline 13th August.
