Don't delay, submit today
The 12th Annual Health Services Research UK (HSRUK) Conference will be held on 2 and 3 July 2019 at the University of Manchester, presenting the leading-edge of health services and systems research. You have a few more days to submit your abstract or session proposal - so get writing and be sure to submit by midnight on SUNDAY 20 JANUARY.
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS (PRESENTATION AND/OR POSTER)
We welcome abstracts on all aspects of health services, systems and policy research, especially research that will have a positive impact on patients and the health service, builds research capacity in the NHS or advances research methodology. Abstracts will be judged on importance, originality and impact. Last year, abstract themes included access and equity, commissioning, innovation, methods, patient experience and global health services research in low, middle and high-income countries.
You are invited to submit an abstract for one of three options: a 15-minute oral presentation; a poster; or an oral presentation and poster. If your abstract is not accepted for oral presentation, you may be offered the opportunity of a poster presentation instead. Posters will be displayed throughout the conference in themed groups, with scheduled facilitated poster walks during conference breaks and promotion of posters in plenary sessions and on social media.
Individual abstracts must be submitted via the online system. To submit please login or create an account. A guide to submitting can be viewed here.
CALL FOR SESSIONS
We also welcome proposals for sessions of 75 minutes, with up to four linked presentations and an overarching narrative. These may be cross-institutional submissions, and may involve presentations from researchers, practitioners, policymakers and patient/public representatives. We welcome proposals for more participative and innovative session formats.
