Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) has a vacancy within their Community Engagement Directorate for a Social Research Analyst on a fixed-term or secondment basis.

The directorate supports the engagement of people and communities in shaping health and care services.  Its Participation Network team provides social research and evaluation support across the organisation and conducts research and evidence gathering to inform national policy, with reports being published on the HIS – Community Engagement website.

This role will provide social research support within the Participation Network and across the Community Engagement directorate’s engagement office network. The successful candidate will assist with systematic and robust research and evaluation of projects through working with more senior staff, peers and Engagement Officers to define research questions, undertaking literature reviews, collecting and collating both quantitative and qualitative data, synthesising and writing up the findings of research.
