Public Health Wales are looking for highly motivated and delivery focused individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the cultural sensitivity to work with diverse groups who may experience health inequalities. Now is an exciting time to join in the partnership with Swansea University to deliver the second of our Health Experiences of Refugees and Asylum Seekers in Wales’ research projects- known as ‘HEAR 2’.
Working under the direction of the academic staff at Swansea University and the Programme Manager at Public Health Wales, the post-holder will have the opportunity to work autonomously within the wider team to deliver the projects aims.
You will be able to work to deadlines and be able to provide high-level support to the research project, which will include undertaking specific pieces of work and managing and monitoring project information. You will be able to use your own initiative and judgment when required, and operate effectively as part of a small and dedicated team.
