The School of Nursing & Healthcare Leadership in the Faculty of Health Studies delivers a range of programmes for health and social care professionals at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We deliver programmes on two sites: Bradford University Campus and Dewsbury District Hospital, with occasional work externally, on weekends and abroad. A significant part of our provision is the undergraduate pre-registration Nursing programme in adult, mental health and children's nursing. You will work with a team to deliver on all aspects of nursing. In addition to contributing to undergraduate nursing, there will be opportunity for you to be involved in other provision including Nursing Associates and continuing professional development programmes. The School team work closely together sharing resources across programmes and contributing expertise where it is required to allow staff to play to their strengths and ensure we provide an excellent student experience.
In addition to teaching and learning provision, the University empowers and encourages staff to develop their own research profile. The University delivers internationally leading, interdisciplinary research and innovation that shapes and benefits future societies. Their internationally renowned applied health research undertaken in partnership with the NHS is impacting positively on health outcomes locally and regionally and is contributing to knowledge of international significance.
