Our event series with Kaleidoscope Health and Care brings people together from across healthcare – in policy, delivery, strategy and research – to learn from successful change in the NHS. Changing Healthcare will use four case studies of successful, large scale change in the NHS as themes to underpin four events that will focus on drawing out the learning for those working in, or thinking about, improvement and system change within the NHS.

Join us for our final event in the Changing Healthcare series, and our fourth case study of successful change: implementing non-medical prescribing.

What drove this change enabling the healthcare system to embrace other health professionals prescribing? What can people working in large scale change today learn from the way this change was approached in the NHS? We will hear from a range of perspectives as we consider factors such as how successive changes contributed to the development of non-medical prescribing, and the role of patient satisfaction in driving this forward.

This free event is open to all, but will be of particular interest to people working in service change, delivery, policy and research.

Speakers include:

  • Christine Hancock, Founder of C3 Collaborating for Health and former General Secretary of Royal College of Nursing.

10am to 4pm (lunch provided)
