Christopher McKevitt

Christopher McKevitt is Professor of Social Sciences & Health in the Department of Population Health Sciences and School Lead for Research & Impact in the School of Population Health & Environmental Sciences at King’s College London.

Since completing his PhD in social anthropology at the London School of Economics, he has worked in health research in a variety of fields including HIV/AIDS and sexual health, doctors with illness, and stroke. Current research includes studies into stroke service development and evaluation, and emergent concepts and practices of citizen involvement/engagement/participation in health care and research.
