Pearl Saadi

Pearl Saadi is the newly appointed Director of Communications at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Foundation where she will be leading the strategic communications, marketing, and brand engagement across the charity.

Her previous role was at Lumos, an international children’s charity where she relaunched their new visual brand identity and messaging, 3-year strategy and values. She was responsible for Lumos’ communication, fundraising and advocacy campaigns colloborating with development teams from Kenya to Colombia. She also launched reports on care institutions and their harmful effects on child development and link between institutions and child-trafficking in Europe.

Prior to this Pearl was Head of Brand and Marketing at RNID (2016-2019) managing the strategic and communications function for this national charity. She successfully improved engagement for Deaf Awareness Week and was responsible for transforming their digital content and storytelling.

Pearl has a 1st Class Hons. Degree in Advertising and an IDM Diploma; she started her career working in creative advertising agencies and later become Client Strategic and Board Director for an award-winning London-based agency (2012-2015). Over the last 20 years she led corporate communications, employee engagement and branding initiatives for global clients such as Unilever, RBS, Volkswagen and JLL. She also devised donor development campaigns for charities such as The Children’s Society, Freedom from Torture, RNLI, and Macmillan.

Pearl is passionate about creative thinking, youth voices, innovation, and diversity. She has previously been a Judge for the Women in Business Awards and recently a panel speaker at the Institute of Fundraising Conference.
